Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine is looking for an experienced Home Health Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The Home Health Aide will assist with a variety of activities related to providing quality care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference.The ideal candidate must be a compassionate and patient individual with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate should also have a passion for working with elderly and disabled patients and be committed to providing the highest level of care.The Home Health Aide will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, household tasks, and other related activities. This individual must have an understanding of the needs of elderly and disabled patients and be able to provide the highest quality of care with compassion and respect.Requirements include:• Must have valid certification in Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)• Must have current CPR/BLS certification• Must have a minimum of one-year experience in a similar role• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation• Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Must be able to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsIf this opportunity sounds like the perfect fit for you, please submit your resume and cover letter and we look forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, household tasks, and other related activities for elderly and disabled patients.
  2. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Maintain valid certification in Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
