  1. Administer medications to patients in a safe and accurate manner, following all established policies and procedures.
  2. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications and report any concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records for each patient, documenting all medications administered and any changes or updates.
  4. Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  6. Keep track of medication inventory, ensuring that all medications are properly stored and stocked.
  7. Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
  8. Educate patients on the proper use and administration of their medications, as well as any potential side effects or interactions.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on medication administration practices and advancements.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the health and well-being of patients and staff.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients and their families.

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Medication Technician (Cmt) License

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Healthcare Setting
