  1. Develop and maintain food safety and quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of all food service areas to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  3. Oversee the implementation of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in all food preparation and service areas.
  4. Collaborate with food service staff to provide training and education on food safety and quality standards.
  5. Monitor and evaluate food suppliers and vendors to ensure their products meet our quality and safety standards.
  6. Investigate and address any food safety or quality concerns or incidents in a timely and thorough manner.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with local health departments and regulatory agencies to stay informed of any changes in food safety regulations.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to food safety and quality assurance.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all food safety and quality assurance activities.
  10. Communicate regularly with management and staff to ensure understanding and compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  11. Conduct regular audits and reviews of all food service operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  12. Serve as a resource for any food safety and quality inquiries or concerns from patients, staff, or external parties.
  13. Manage and train a team of food safety and quality assurance staff to ensure departmental goals and objectives are met.
  14. Continuously evaluate and update food safety and quality assurance protocols and procedures to adapt to changing needs and regulations.
  15. Foster a culture of food safety and quality throughout the organization by promoting awareness and accountability among all staff members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Nutrition, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Food Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations And Compliance Standards, Including Haccp And Fda Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Communicate With Various Departments Within The Organization.

  • Experience With Implementing And Maintaining Quality Systems, Conducting Audits And Inspections, And Managing Food Safety Incidents And Recalls.
