  1. Lead the EPIC project initiatives within the Users and Security department at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
  2. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to ensure successful implementation of EPIC projects.
  3. Develop and execute project plans and timelines for EPIC initiatives.
  4. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.
  5. Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  6. Serve as the main point of contact for all EPIC project-related communications.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to EPIC implementation.
  8. Train and guide team members on EPIC processes and procedures.
  9. Identify and address any potential risks or issues that may arise during the project.
  10. Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, including senior management.
  11. Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather input and make decisions regarding EPIC projects.
  12. Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to EPIC implementation.
  13. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Users and Security department.
  14. Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in all EPIC project deliverables.

  • Extensive Experience With Epic Software: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Epic Software, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Epic Implementation Projects.

  • Expertise In Users And Security Configuration: As A Epic Project Leader For Users And Security, The Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of User Roles, Security Protocols, And Access Management Within The Epic System.

  • Project Management Skills: Strong Project Management Skills Are Essential For This Role, Including The Ability To Develop And Execute Project Plans, Manage Timelines And Budgets, And Effectively Communicate Progress To Stakeholders.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: The Epic Project Leader Should Be Able To Effectively Lead A Team Of Users And Security Specialists, As Well As Communicate With Other Departments, Stakeholders, And End-Users Throughout The Project.
