Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an Epic IT Director for our Revenue Cycle department to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Epic revenue cycle applications.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Epic revenue cycle applications across all Johns Hopkins Medicine entities.
  2. Lead a team of IT professionals to ensure timely and effective delivery of projects and initiatives related to Epic revenue cycle applications.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand business needs and provide innovative solutions to meet those needs.
  4. Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all revenue cycle IT operations.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the timely resolution of technical issues and the successful integration of new technologies.
  7. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  8. Oversee the budget for the revenue cycle IT department, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and cost-effective decision making.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in revenue cycle technology, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  10. Represent Johns Hopkins Medicine and the revenue cycle IT department in meetings, presentations, and conferences, promoting our organization as a leader in healthcare technology.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In It Leadership Roles, With A Focus On Revenue Cycle Systems.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Epic Revenue Cycle Modules, Including Resolute Hospital Billing And Resolute Professional Billing.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Processes And Regulations, Such As Hipaa And Cms Guidelines.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Implementation And Optimization Of Epic Revenue Cycle Systems In A Large Healthcare Organization.
