- Communicate and coordinate with IT and EPIC teams to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues or errors.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the use of EPIC to maintain data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations.
- Monitor and analyze system usage and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for system enhancements.
- Conduct regular training sessions and create educational materials to ensure end-users have a thorough understanding of the EPIC system.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and EPIC support teams to facilitate system updates and upgrades.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to end-users to ensure effective and efficient use of the EPIC system.
- Participate in testing and implementation of new EPIC modules and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to EPIC usage and data security.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, workflows, and user guides.
- Collaborate with other EPIC Application Coordinators to share best practices and promote standardization across the organization.
- Participate in meetings and committees related to EPIC usage and optimization.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development to enhance EPIC expertise and knowledge.
Bachelor's Degree In Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience As An Epic Application Coordinator, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Certification In Relevant Epic Applications, Such As Epiccare Ambulatory Or Inpatient Clinical Documentation.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Workflows And Processes, Particularly Related To Epic Applications.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Clinical Staff, It Professionals, And Project Managers.
