- Lead and manage the implementation of Epic applications in various departments and clinics within the organization.
- Collaborate with department leaders and end-users to assess workflow needs and design efficient processes within the Epic system.
- Train and educate end-users on how to effectively utilize Epic applications to improve patient care and streamline operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any issues or concerns related to the Epic system, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to workflow.
- Stay up-to-date on new Epic features and functionality, and make recommendations for how they can be incorporated into current processes to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with the IT team to ensure proper integration of Epic applications with other systems within the organization.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, updates, and training materials.
- Serve as a liaison between end-users and the IT team, communicating any system needs or issues that arise.
- Monitor and maintain system security and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other Epic Application Coordinators to share best practices and continuously improve processes and workflows.
- Regularly communicate with Epic representatives to stay updated on new releases, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Participate in testing and validation of new system features and updates before implementation.
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the use of Epic applications and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Represent the organization at Epic user group meetings and conferences as needed.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Implementing And Supporting Epic Applications.
Epic Certification In At Least One Application Module.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Effectively With All Levels Of Staff.
