Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency preparedness and response.
  2. Analyze potential threats, develop plans, and coordinate responses to a wide range of emergency situations.
  3. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
  4. Monitor and review emergency preparedness and response plans.
  5. Train and educate staff on emergency management protocols.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal emergency management agencies.
  7. Participate in drills and exercises to test and evaluate emergency management protocols.
  8. Assist in the coordination of the emergency response team.
  9. Monitor and stay informed of local, state, and federal regulations and laws related to emergency management.
  10. Respond to emergency calls and coordinate resources.
  11. Document emergency management activities.
  12. Provide information and support to patients, staff, and community members during emergency events.
