Job Description

At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable EEG Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. Our ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, has the ability to work independently, and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. To be successful in this position, you must have an Associate’s degree in a related field, at least one year of experience as an EEG Technologist, and a valid state license. You must also be knowledgeable in current EEG technology, be able to troubleshoot and repair EEG equipment, and have excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform EEG testing on patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair EEG equipment when required.
  3. Maintain clean and organized work environment.
  4. Ensure accuracy of all EEG testing data.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and practices.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
  7. Collaborate with the medical team to ensure quality patient care.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current EEG technology.
  9. Document patient information and EEG results.
  10. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Science Or Related Field

  • Registered Or Registry Eligible With The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret)

  • + Years Of Eeg Experience

  • Knowledge Of Basic Computer Skills

  • Ability To Read

  • Write

  • And Speak English Fluently

  • Knowledge Of Basic And Advanced Eeg Recording Techniques

  • Ability To Work With Pediatric And Adult Patients

  • Current Cpr Certification.
