Job Description

At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are searching for an experienced and compassionate Echocardiography Technologist - PRN to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiac imaging tests, including echocardiography, to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and monitoring patients. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be knowledgeable of echocardiography techniques and protocols. You must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting, previous experience with echocardiography, and be certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Responsibilities:

• Perform various types of cardiac imaging tests, including echocardiography, to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and monitoring patients

• Ensure that all tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

• Communicate test results with healthcare providers

• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment

• Provide patient education and answer questions regarding the testing process

• Follow safety protocols and established infection control and operating procedures

• Maintain current ARDMS certification

• Work independently and as part of a team
