
Director - Hospital Marketing
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our growing team as Director of Hospital Marketing. The ideal candidate for this role will be an innovative and creative thinker with a strong background in marketing and a passion for healthcare. The Director of Hospital Marketing will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for our hospital system. This position requires an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to think strategically to establish goals, objectives, and strategies to ensure success. Additionally, the successful candidate must also have a proven track record of success in hospital-based marketing initiatives.The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations or a related field• At least five years of experience leading hospital marketing initiatives• Knowledge of healthcare and marketing trends and best practices• Strong written and verbal communication abilities• Excellent organizational and project management skills• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team• Familiarity with digital and social media platforms
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies designed to increase awareness and engagement of the hospital system.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure marketing objectives are achieved.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Monitor healthcare and marketing trends to ensure the hospital system is up-to-date and informed.
- Engage and collaborate with external vendors to ensure successful marketing initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents related to marketing activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Utilize digital and social media platforms to promote the hospital system.
- Create and manage the hospital system’s budget for marketing activities.
- Monitor and manage the hospital system’s marketing resources.
