Job Description

At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are looking for a Clinical Transformation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical transformation team, you will be responsible for driving performance improvement to ensure that our clinical services are delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence, a strong background in healthcare, and the desire to support the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine. The Clinical Transformation Specialist will be responsible for working with clinical operations and clinical leadership to create innovative solutions to drive patient-centered, cost-effective healthcare delivery. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, nursing, finance, public health, or business. You should also have at least three years of experience in a healthcare setting, as well as an understanding of healthcare operations and clinical transformation strategies. Responsibilities of a Clinical Transformation Specialist:

  1. Develop innovative solutions to improve patient-centered, cost-effective healthcare delivery.
  2. Work with clinical operations and clinical leadership to drive performance improvement.
  3. Monitor effectiveness of healthcare delivery systems and make changes or recommend changes as needed.
  4. Lead teams in the implementation of complex healthcare projects.
  5. Analyze data and develop reports to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
  6. Develop and present presentations to stakeholders on progress and results.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of clinical transformation strategies.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical transformation strategies.
  9. Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices in healthcare delivery.
  10. Assist with budgeting and forecasting in support of the clinical transformation efforts.
