Job Description

In this role, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside physicians, nurses, and therapists to provide high-quality care for patients recovering from various medical conditions.   1. Provide direct patient care: As a Clinical Technician, your main responsibility will be to provide direct care to patients in the Inpatient Rehabilitation department. This may include assisting with activities of daily living, administering medication, and monitoring vital signs.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team: You will work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients. This may involve attending team meetings, communicating patient progress, and participating in treatment planning.
  3. Monitor patient progress: It will be your responsibility to monitor and document patient progress, including changes in condition, response to treatment, and achievement of rehabilitation goals. This information will be used to inform the treatment plan and make adjustments as needed.
  4. Ensure patient safety and comfort: You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients at all times. This includes following infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and organized patient environment, and addressing any patient needs or concerns.
  5. Educate patients and families: As a Clinical Technician, you will also play a role in educating patients and their families about their medical condition, treatment plan, and self-care techniques. This will help patients better understand their care and empower them to take an active role in their recovery.
  6. Uphold hospital policies and procedures: You will be expected to adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient care, safety, and confidentiality. This includes maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  7. Stay current with healthcare trends: As part of your role, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with healthcare trends and best practices in rehabilitation. This may involve attending trainings, conferences, and staying informed about new research and technology developments.
  8. Maintain accurate records: Accurate and timely documentation is crucial in healthcare. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate records of patient care, progress, and any other relevant information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field (Such As Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Or Health Sciences) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification Or Licensure In A Relevant Area (Such As Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Or Physical Therapist Assistant).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In An Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Rehabilitation Principles, Techniques, And Equipment Used In The Care And Treatment Of Patients.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
