Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Pathology professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess expertise in the diagnosis of diseases and disorders through laboratory testing, and will be responsible for providing accurate and timely results to inform patient care. A commitment to excellence in patient care and outstanding customer service are essential qualifications. This position requires a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or equivalent in the state of Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a medical technology or related field, and at least 5 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Pathology professional. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to service are essential. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform and interpret laboratory tests to diagnose diseases and disorders.
  2. Provide accurate and timely results to inform patient care.
  3. Maintain a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or equivalent in the state of Maryland.
  4. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance to HIPAA regulations.
  5. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  6. Maintain laboratory records and reports.
  7. Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  9. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care.
  10. Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for providing outstanding patient care.
