Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join the Johns Hopkins Medicine team as a PRN (as needed) staff member. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to develop and implement exercise programs for patients in order to improve physical fitness, health, and overall well-being. You will work with a team of medical professionals to create individualized exercise plans and ensure that each patient's goals are met. To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field, be currently certified as an Exercise Physiologist (CEP) by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and have at least one year of experience as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
  2. Work with a team of medical professionals to create individualized exercise plans.
  3. Monitor patient progress and adjust exercise plans accordingly.
  4. Provide education to patients regarding exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall health.
  5. Ensure patient safety and comfort during exercise sessions.
  6. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and exercise programs.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in exercise science and clinical exercise physiology.
  8. Maintain certification as an Exercise Physiologist (CEP) by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
