Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and analytical individual with a passion for healthcare data? We are looking for a Clinical Data & Analytics Specialist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience in healthcare data to help us to better understand our patients and provide quality, evidence-based care.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a high level of comfort working with large datasets and have an eye for detail. They will also have strong communication skills and be able to work independently and in teams. The Clinical Data & Analytics Specialist will be expected to apply creativity and critical thinking to develop innovative solutions to complex healthcare data challenges.Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field, as well as a minimum of two years of experience working with healthcare data. Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize knowledge and experience in healthcare data to provide quality, evidence-based care.
  2. Work with large datasets and have an eye for detail.
  3. Develop innovative solutions to complex healthcare data challenges.
  4. Maintain strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
  5. Use data analysis software programs such as Microsoft Access, SAS, and SQL.
  6. Monitor data accuracy and integrity.
  7. Develop and implement data collection systems, databases, and data analysis procedures.
  8. Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and correlations.
  9. Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  10. Generate reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
