- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Candidates For This Position Should Have Completed A Program In Medical Assisting From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have Received Comprehensive Training In Both Clinical And Administrative Duties.
Certification As A Medical Assistant: A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification Is A Must For This Position. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Passed A Rigorous Exam And Has Met The Standards Set By The Certifying Board Of The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama).
Experience In Gyn/Ob Setting: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Gyn/Ob Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic Setting. This Will Ensure That They Are Familiar With The Unique Clinical Procedures And Protocols Required In This Specialty.
