We at Johns Hopkins Medicine are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our amazing team. As a CMA in our healthcare setting, you will assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing care to our patients. The ideal candidate for this position will be an organized, compassionate, and reliable individual who can provide excellent patient care.To be considered for this position, you must possess a professional certification and have at least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting. You must also have a strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding systems, as well as the ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor in all types of situations. A successful CMA will be an effective communicator who is able to build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues.If you possess the required qualifications and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing care to patients.
  2. Maintain a professional demeanor in all types of situations.
  3. Build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues.
  4. Administer medications, take vital signs, and assist with medical procedures.
  5. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the physician.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times.
  8. Perform medical coding and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  9. Educate and inform patients and family about health care procedures, treatments, and services.
  10. Assist with scheduling appointments, ordering lab tests, and other clerical duties as needed.
