Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine is looking for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer-Echo Technologist to join our team of dedicated medical professionals. We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional care for our patients. The successful candidate should have a strong knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, as well as the ability to operate specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.Required qualifications include:• Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent• Certified in cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography from an approved program• Ability to operate specialized ultrasound machines• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment• A commitment to patient safety and confidentialityIf you are an experienced Cardiac Sonographer-Echo Technologist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities: • Perform specialized cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography tests and procedures on patients. • Utilize operating ultrasound machines to obtain diagnostic images. • Accurately analyze and interpret test results. • Document patient information and test results in electronic medical records. • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with patients and other medical staff. • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. • Monitor patient wellbeing and alert healthcare providers of any changes in condition. • Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and ensure it is in proper working order. • Keep up to date with advances in ultrasound technology and cardiac sonography.
