  1. Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasounds according to protocol and physician orders.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate diagnostic procedures.
  5. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  6. Use critical thinking skills to assess and analyze ultrasound images for accurate diagnosis.
  7. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and troubleshooting any technical issues.
  8. Educate patients on the ultrasound procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
  9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on advancements in cardiac ultrasound technology.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy at all times.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  13. Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
  14. Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining supply inventory and completing necessary documentation.
  15. Provide exceptional patient care and customer service at all times.
  16. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  17. Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals regarding cardiac ultrasound procedures and technology.
  18. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure high-quality patient care.
  19. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  20. Continuously strive to improve processes and enhance patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Certification Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Sonography, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Experience With A Variety Of Cardiac Ultrasound Equipment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.
