- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of large-scale capital projects for Johns Hopkins Medicine.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Lead and manage a team of project coordinators, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including hospital leadership, staff, and external partners, to ensure project objectives are understood and met.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and contracting practices.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to construction and project management.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in project management to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and achieve project success.
- Provide regular updates and presentations to hospital leadership on project status and key milestones.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of project team members as needed.
- Represent Johns Hopkins Medicine and its values in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Project Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Managing Large-Scale Capital Projects In The Healthcare Industry.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With Experience In Managing Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Project Management Methodologies And Tools, Such As Agile Or Six Sigma.
Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements Related To Capital Projects.
