At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are looking for an experienced Capital Project Manager to join our team and drive our capital projects initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. If you have a passion for delivering successful projects on time and on budget, and consider yourself a leader with strong communication and collaboration skills, we would love to hear from you.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management, as well as a minimum of five years of experience in a project management role. Additionally, having a certification in project management and experience managing large capital projects for a healthcare organization is highly preferred. This position requires a high degree of technical knowledge and the ability to interpret regulations and codes. We are seeking a Capital Project Manager who is a self-starter with the ability to think critically and work independently. We need someone with a creative and flexible approach to problem-solving, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to the highest level of customer service. The successful candidate must have the ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement capital projects initiatives.
  2. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure successful delivery on time and on budget.
  3. Interpret regulations and codes and ensure adherence to all applicable standards.
  4. Lead teams in the successful completion of projects.
  5. Monitor and evaluate project progress and performance.
  6. Identify and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
  8. Leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with all levels of personnel.
  9. Utilize problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative approaches to project management.
  10. Provide the highest level of customer service.
