Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to join us as our Breast Imaging Technical Educator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and clinical education for our breast imaging staff across our organization. With a passion for teaching and patient care, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our breast imaging team and the overall quality of our services.The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in breast imaging, with at least 2 years of experience in a teaching or supervisory capacity. In addition, a bachelor's degree in healthcare, biomedicine, or a related field is required. We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with our staff to ensure that our educational programs are of the highest quality. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement educational programs for breast imaging staff across the organization.
  2. Provide technical and clinical instruction for staff in a variety of settings.
  3. Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure quality standards are met.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  5. Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of resources to support breast imaging staff.
  6. Identify opportunities for improvement in educational programs and processes.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  8. Foster a positive learning environment for staff.
  9. Maintain current knowledge and best practices in the field of breast imaging.
  10. Manage all administrative tasks related to the role.
