  1. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  2. Set up and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and monitors.
  3. Ensure proper functioning of all equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  4. Prepare and administer medications and fluids under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of medications and supplies used during procedures.
  6. Assist with patient positioning and preparation for anesthesia.
  7. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the anesthesiologist.
  8. Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with resuscitation efforts.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and actively participate in patient care conferences.
  12. Attend continuing education and training programs to stay current on best practices and advancements in anesthesia technology.

Job Qualifications
  • Formal Training In Anesthesia Technology: Applicants For This Position Should Have Completed An Accredited Program In Anesthesia Technology, Which Includes Coursework In Anesthesia Equipment, Pharmacology, Patient Monitoring, And Sterile Techniques.

  • Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification As An Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t.) From The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Setting Is Required. Candidates Should Have Experience In Assisting With Anesthesia Procedures, Maintaining Equipment, And Providing Support To Anesthesiologists.

  • Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment: Applicants Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Anesthesia Equipment, Including Maintenance, Troubleshooting, And Safety Protocols. Knowledge Of Various Anesthesia Delivery Systems, Ventilators, And Monitoring Devices Is Essential.

  • Attention To Detail: Anesthesia Technicians Are Responsible For Ensuring The Accuracy And Safety Of Anesthesia Equipment And Supplies. Candidates Must Possess Excellent Attention To Detail, Be Able To Follow Strict Protocols, And Maintain Accurate Records.
