Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Adult Occupational Therapist to join our team. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about helping adults with physical, emotional, and mental challenges achieve their highest level of independence. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work collaboratively with patients and their families to create and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university and be licensed in the state of Maryland as an Occupational Therapist. Additionally, the candidate should have strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and a willingness to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Previous experience in providing occupational therapy services to adults is highly preferred. Responsibilities: -Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adults with physical, emotional, and mental challenges -Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for each patient -Conduct clinical assessments and problem-solving sessions -Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible care for patients -Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards -Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress -Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of occupational therapy
