- Oversee the entire admissions process for Johns Hopkins Medicine, ensuring that all steps are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with various departments, including admissions, academic affairs, and financial aid, to ensure a seamless and coordinated process for prospective students.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to admissions, providing prompt and professional responses to all communication.
- Review and evaluate applications, transcripts, and other required documents to determine eligibility for admission.
- Schedule and conduct admissions interviews, providing a positive and informative experience for prospective students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applicants and their status in the admissions process.
- Communicate regularly with faculty and staff regarding the admissions process and provide updates on the status of applicants.
- Plan and coordinate admissions events, such as open houses and information sessions, to attract and engage potential students.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in admissions, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service to all applicants, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the development and implementation of admissions policies and procedures to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and data analysis on admissions statistics and trends for use by senior leadership.
- Train and supervise admissions support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Johns Hopkins Medicine, promoting the institution's mission and values to prospective students and the community.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the admissions process and maintain confidentiality of all applicant information.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Human Resources.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Admissions Or A Related Field, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Range Of Individuals, Including Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
Knowledge Of Admissions Processes And Regulations, Including Hipaa And Patient Privacy Laws.
Experience With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite.
