  1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in our acute care units.
  2. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  3. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
  5. Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary.
  6. Monitor and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  7. Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs and treatment plans.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  9. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case conferences.
  10. Identify and address potential patient safety concerns.
  11. Act as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
  13. Stay informed about current healthcare practices and advancements in the ACNP field.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program With Specialization In Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

  • Active And Unrestricted Rn And Aprn Licenses In The State Of Maryland.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In An Acute Care Setting.

  • Certification As An Acute Care Nurse Practitioner From A Recognized Certifying Body Such As Aacn Or Ancc.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills In The Management And Treatment Of Acute And Complex Medical Conditions, Including Experience With Critical Care Patients.
