
Manager Regulatory Affairs
The Regulatory Affairs department focuses on regulatory compliance initiatives to support continuous readiness, quality and patient safety. The department concentrates on oversight of accreditation and certification processes and with development, implementation and monitoring of action plans. Lead or participate in interdisciplinary teams to revise workflow, policies, and/or documentation to achieve regulatory compliance.Write and/or review corrective action plans for appropriateness, effectiveness, and completion. Assess compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements through tracer methodology, chart review and/or staff interviews or observations. Chair or co-chair the Regulatory Affairs Readiness Council. Participate in various committees and meetings as the hospital’s Regulatory representative, including liaison with health system regulatory leaders.
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare related experience
At least 2 years of program or project management experience and/or regulatory agency standards (AHCA, TJC, Federal CMS, etc.)
2 years management experience
Master’s degree preferred
