Job Description

At IQVIA, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Statistical Programmer to join our team. The Senior Statistical Programmer will be responsible for providing programming support for clinical trial data management and analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with statistical software packages, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. If you are an individual who is passionate about data and analytics, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, we would love to hear from you!The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field - At least 5 years of relevant work experience- Advanced knowledge of SAS programming and other statistical software packages - Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities of a Senior Statistical Programmer:

  1. Develop and maintain programming datasets, tables, and figures for clinical trial data management and analysis.
  2. Design and implement programs for data manipulation, graphical analysis, and statistical analysis.
  3. Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and analysis results.
  4. Write and debug SAS programs for data analysis and reporting.
  5. Develop and adhere to programming standards and procedures.
  6. Train and mentor junior programmers on programming processes and best practices.
  7. Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to develop timelines and complete projects on schedule.
  8. Provide support for regulatory submissions and respond to queries from regulatory agencies.
  9. Prepare detailed documentation of programming processes for review by regulatory agencies.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues.
