  1. Develop and optimize assays to support drug discovery and development projects in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
  3. Lead and manage a team of scientists to ensure efficient and high-quality assay development processes.
  4. Stay informed about the latest scientific advancements and technologies in the field of assay development and apply them to enhance our processes.
  5. Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols for assay development.
  6. Ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables for assay development projects.
  7. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting results and updates to clients and senior management.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experiments, data, and results.
  9. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  10. Mentor and train junior scientists in assay development techniques and processes.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve assay development processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Participate in scientific conferences and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge with the scientific community.
  14. Contribute to the writing and review of publications, patents, and grant proposals.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Or Pharmacology.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Assay Development, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Various Assay Platforms And Techniques, Including Elisa, Western Blotting, And Qpcr.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Assay Development Projects, Including The Ability To Troubleshoot And Optimize Assays.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Present Scientific Findings To Both Internal And External Stakeholders.
