Job Description

IQVIA is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Clinical Data Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in clinical data management and take advantage of the chance to work with a world-leading organization.The Senior Clinical Data Manager is responsible for overseeing complex clinical data management activities, providing guidance to their team, and ensuring data accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and excellent technical knowledge of clinical trials and databases.Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. life science, healthcare, statistics, etc.)- Proven experience in clinical data management- Detailed knowledge of clinical trial regulations and guidelines- Understanding of database design, validation, and programming- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsIf you have the qualifications and experience to make an impact in this role, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities of a Senior Clinical Data Manager:

  1. Oversee complex clinical data management activities, provide guidance to team members, and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  2. Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure that protocols are followed and data is collected in accordance with the project timeline.
  3. Develop and implement clinical data management standards and processes.
  4. Develop clinical database design and validation plans.
  5. Monitor and review clinical data for accuracy and completeness.
  6. Maintain and update clinical databases.
  7. Develop and implement data quality metrics.
  8. Train new clinical data management team members.
  9. Manage the clinical data management budget.
  10. Troubleshoot any data issues and develop solutions.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.
  12. Provide reports and updates to the clinical team and other stakeholders.
