- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth in the rare disease market within the designated region.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the rare disease market.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity in order to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management.
- Develop and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to ensure sales team is equipped with necessary knowledge and skills.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and meetings to build brand awareness and promote our rare disease solutions.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance guidelines related to rare diseases.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience, With At Least 3 Years In Rare Disease Or Orphan Drug Sales.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Sales Team, With A Strong Understanding Of The Rare Disease Market And Its Unique Challenges.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field. Advanced Degree In Life Sciences Or Mba Preferred.
Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Execute Strategic Sales Plans, Including Budget Management And Forecasting.
Exceptional Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Key Stakeholders.
