- Analyze project financial data: Conduct thorough analysis of project financial data, including budget vs actuals, forecasted costs, and variances, to provide insights and recommendations to project teams.
- Prepare accurate financial reports: Utilize financial reporting tools and systems to compile, analyze, and present financial data in a clear and concise manner, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor project budgets: Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate financial status: Regularly communicate financial status of projects to project teams, management, and other stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues that may impact project profitability.
- Forecast project financials: Utilize historical data and trends to accurately forecast project financials, identifying potential risks and opportunities to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, to ensure accurate and ethical financial reporting.
- Identify process improvements: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with project teams, finance colleagues, and other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
- Support project planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to project teams during the planning phase to ensure realistic and profitable project goals are set.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement within the company's financial processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Financial Analysis, Preferably In A Project-Based Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Project Budgeting, Forecasting, And Financial Reporting.
Proficiency In Financial Software And Tools, Such As Excel, Sap, And/Or Oracle.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Communicate Complex Financial Data To Non-Financial Stakeholders.
