Job Description

At IQVIA, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Statistical Programmer to lead a team of Statistical Programmers and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure our data-driven solutions meet client objectives. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a deep knowledge of statistical programming and an ability to manage complex projects and teams.The ideal candidate for this role will have an advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 8 years of experience in the biostatistics, statistical programming, and/or clinical data management fields. In addition, the successful Principal Statistical Programmer will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of Statistical Programmers and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure data-driven solutions meet client objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Provide guidance and support to Statistical Programmers in areas such as statistical programming, biostatistics, and clinical data management.
  4. Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  5. Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
  6. Analyze and interpret data to identify areas of improvement.
  7. Implement best practices and procedures to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  8. Participate in maintenance and development of statistical analysis plans.
  9. Monitor and report progress of projects and tasks.
  10. Contribute to the development of data-driven solutions.
