Job Description

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Principal Statistical Programmer to join our IQVIA team! As Principal Statistical Programmer, you will be an integral part of our team that is transforming the way in which clinical trials are conducted. You will develop, maintain, and support the clinical programming activities of our studies, as well as providing leadership and direction for the programming staff.To be successful in this role, you should have a BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in clinical programming. You should also have extensive knowledge of clinical trial data management and analysis processes, as well as experience in working with clinical databases and knowledge of programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, and SQL. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also essential to this role.If you’re passionate about using your technical knowledge to drive improvements in clinical research, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain, and support the clinical programming activities of our studies.
  2. Provide leadership and direction for the programming staff.
  3. Design and develop clinical trial data management and analysis processes.
  4. Create and maintain clinical databases.
  5. Write code in programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, and SQL.
  6. Communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug programming issues.
  8. Work with stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the programming staff.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in clinical programming.
