- Monitor and maintain the health of the network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Identify and troubleshoot network issues, working quickly and efficiently to resolve them and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination during network outages or maintenance.
- Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential network issues before they impact clients.
- Create and maintain documentation related to network operations, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Monitor network performance and make recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network operations to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technology.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely and accurate updates on network incidents and resolution.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships.
- Collaborate with other members of the NOC team to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality in handling sensitive data and information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to information security and data privacy.
- Continuously seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Network Operations Or Technical Support Role
Proficiency In Network Monitoring Tools Such As Solarwinds Or Nagios
Knowledge Of Network Protocols And Technologies Such As Tcp/Ip, Dns, Dhcp, Vpn, And Vlans
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment
