- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families, providing a welcoming and compassionate environment for all individuals who come to IQVIA seeking services.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in social work to support patients and families in navigating the healthcare system, connecting them with necessary resources and providing emotional support.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' social, emotional and environmental needs, and develop individualized care plans to address those needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication and ensure that patients' needs are being met.
- Advocate for patients' rights and needs, and ensure that they are receiving the highest quality of care in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay up-to-date on current social work practices and techniques, and use this knowledge to provide evidence-based interventions and support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and progress, as well as participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families in emergency situations.
- Act as a mentor and role model for other social work staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
Master's Degree In Social Work: A Lcsw Ambassador Must Hold A Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited University. This Advanced Level Of Education Provides The Necessary Theoretical Knowledge And Practical Skills For The Role.
Lcsw Licensure: The Candidate Must Possess An Active And Unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) License In The State Where The Job Is Located. This Demonstrates That The Individual Has Met The Necessary Requirements For Practicing Clinical Social Work And Is Committed To Maintaining Professional Standards.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Clinical Social Work. This Experience Provides A Strong Foundation For The Role And Ensures The Individual Is Well-Equipped To Handle The Responsibilities Of An Ambassador.
