Job Description

That's why we're looking for a passionate and experienced Staff Design Researcher to join our team. As a Staff Design Researcher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design of our products, by conducting research that uncovers insights and drives empathy for our customers. We're seeking someone with a strong background in design research and a desire to make a positive impact on people's lives through their work. If you're someone who is curious, empathetic, and loves diving into complex problems, we'd love to hear from you.

  1. Conduct research to understand customer needs and pain points in order to inform the design of our products.
  2. Develop and implement research plans and methodologies to uncover insights and drive empathy for our customers.
  3. Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure research findings are integrated into the design process.
  4. Analyze and synthesize research data to create actionable insights and recommendations for product design.
  5. Present research findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design research to continuously improve our research methods and processes.
  7. Mentor and provide guidance to junior researchers on research methodologies and techniques.
  8. Work closely with product teams to define research objectives and align research efforts with product goals.
  9. Participate in user testing and other design validation activities to gather feedback and insights.
  10. Continuously advocate for the importance of design research and its impact on customer experience within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Design Research, Preferably In A Software Or Technology Company.

  • Strong Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And Methodologies, Including User Interviews, Usability Testing, And Ethnographic Research.

  • Proficiency In Research Tools And Techniques, Such As Creating Surveys, Conducting Data Analysis, And Creating Personas.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Present Research Findings And Recommendations To Cross-Functional Teams.
