  1. Develop and lead the product strategy for the Core Recommendation System, ensuring it aligns with the overall business goals and objectives of Intuit.
  2. Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify key opportunities and pain points, and use this information to drive product development.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define and prioritize product features and enhancements.
  4. Manage the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
  5. Define and track key product metrics to measure the success and impact of the Core Recommendation System, and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve the product.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive alignment and support for product initiatives.
  7. Mentor and develop a team of product managers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' products, and use this knowledge to inform product strategy and innovation.
  9. Communicate product updates and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders, providing regular insights and recommendations.
  10. Serve as a product expert, representing the Core Recommendation System at external events and conferences, and promoting its value and benefits to potential customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Product Management: A Principal Product Manager At Intuit Must Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Product Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Conceptualizing, Developing, And Launching Products In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Recommendation Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Core Recommendation Systems, Including Machine Learning Algorithms, Data Analysis, And User Behavior Modeling. This Knowledge Is Essential For Developing Innovative And Effective Recommendation Strategies.

  • Leadership And Strategic Thinking: As A Principal Product Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Product Managers And Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Excellent Leadership Skills, Strategic Thinking, And The Ability To Drive Results Are Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Technical Expertise: The Principal Product Manager Must Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Engineers And Data Scientists. A Solid Understanding Of Software Engineering Principles, Data Structures, And Coding Languages Is Highly Desirable.
