As the Principal M&A Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the integration of acquired companies into Intuit's financial systems and processes.   1. Lead the integration of acquired companies into Intuit's financial systems and processes.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements for acquired entities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integration plans.
  4. Conduct detailed financial analysis of potential acquisition targets.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and advisors involved in M&A transactions.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations related to M&A activity.
  7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during M&A audits.
  8. Prepare and present financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.
  9. Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities related to M&A transactions.
  10. Monitor and track financial performance of acquired companies post-integration.
  11. Continuously improve and streamline M&A accounting processes and procedures.
  12. Train and mentor team members on M&A accounting best practices.
  13. Keep up to date with industry trends and developments in M&A accounting.
  14. Support other accounting and finance initiatives as needed.
  15. Uphold Intuit's values and promote a positive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Background In Accounting And Finance: A Principal M&A Accountant At Intuit Should Have A Solid Foundation In Accounting Principles And Financial Analysis To Effectively Evaluate Potential Mergers And Acquisitions.

  • Extensive Experience In Mergers And Acquisitions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Executing Mergers And Acquisitions, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Role Of A Principal M&A Accountant At Intuit Requires Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, So Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success.
