Principal Accountant M&A

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving the accounting and reporting of all M&A transactions.To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting, including experience with M&A accounting. You will also need an advanced knowledge of US GAAP and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the accounting and reporting of all M&A transactions
2. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations
3. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial statement preparation
4. Develop and maintain high-quality accounting processes and controls
5. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective M&A transactions
7. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
8. Prepare and review financial statements and other financial reports
9. Manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
10. Monitor the M&A pipeline and provide timely updates to the team
