Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Legal Intern to join our team at Intuit. As a Legal Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.   1. Conduct legal research on a variety of topics and provide thorough and accurate analysis and recommendations.
  2. Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and presentations.
  3. Attend meetings and hearings with attorneys to observe legal proceedings and take notes.
  4. Help maintain legal files and databases, ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and provide legal guidance on projects and initiatives.
  6. Conduct due diligence and assist with legal document review and analysis for potential business transactions.
  7. Draft and review correspondence and other legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
  8. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  9. Prepare and present legal research findings and recommendations to attorneys and other team members.
  10. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents.
  11. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information and adhere to ethical standards.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
  14. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the legal team and the organization as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Completed At Least 2 Years Of Law School: The Ideal Candidate For A Legal Intern Position At Intuit Should Have Completed At Least 2 Years Of Law School, With A Strong Academic Record.

  • Familiarity With Corporate Law: A Legal Intern At Intuit Will Be Working On A Variety Of Legal Matters Related To The Company's Operations. Therefore, A Basic Understanding Of Corporate Law And Its Principles Is Necessary.

  • Excellent Research And Writing Skills: As A Legal Intern, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Conduct Legal Research And Draft Documents Such As Memos And Briefs. Strong Research And Writing Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: Legal Work Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail, And This Is Especially True For A Legal Intern At Intuit. The Candidate Should Be Able To Spot And Correct Errors In Legal Documents And Contracts.

  • Ability To Work Independently: While The Legal Intern Will Have Guidance And Support From Senior Attorneys, They Should Also Be Able To Work Independently And Take Initiative When Necessary. This Includes Managing Their Own Workload And Meeting Deadlines.
