1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of SOX IT compliance requirements and how they apply to Intuit’s operations.
2. Lead and manage the company's SOX IT compliance program, including identifying areas of risk and implementing controls to mitigate those risks.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all IT processes and systems are in compliance with SOX requirements.
4. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to SOX IT compliance.
5. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on SOX IT compliance matters, including training and education.
7. Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and oversee the coordination of all SOX IT compliance related audits.
8. Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure the company’s compliance program is up-to-date.
9. Communicate regularly with senior leadership on the status of the company’s SOX IT compliance efforts, including any areas of concern or improvement.
10. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline compliance efforts and increase efficiency.
11. Manage and mentor a team of IT compliance professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
12. Collaborate with other departments, such as Legal and Finance, to ensure alignment of compliance efforts and provide support as needed.
13. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information related to SOX compliance.
