Corporate Counsel - Privacy Data Governance

1. Serve as the primary legal expert on privacy and data governance matters for Intuit, ensuring compliance with global privacy laws and regulations.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to safeguard Intuit's data.
3. Provide strategic guidance on privacy and data governance issues, including risk assessment and mitigation.
4. Keep up-to-date with evolving privacy laws and regulations and advise on their potential impact on Intuit's business operations.
5. Conduct regular reviews of Intuit's data practices and make recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
6. Act as a liaison between legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment on privacy and data governance matters.
7. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on privacy and data governance principles and best practices.
8. Collaborate with external counsel and regulatory bodies on privacy-related investigations or inquiries.
9. Stay informed on industry best practices and trends in privacy and data governance to continuously improve Intuit's practices.
10. Maintain accurate and organized records of privacy and data governance activities and documentation.
11. Proactively identify potential privacy and data governance risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
12. Represent Intuit's interests in privacy and data governance matters with external stakeholders.
13. Uphold and promote a culture of privacy and data governance compliance within the organization.
14. Participate in the development of privacy and data governance-related policies and procedures.
15. Other duties as assigned by the legal team and management.
