  1. Develop and implement strategies to protect Intuit and its customers from cybersecurity threats.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  3. Advise and provide guidance to internal teams on cybersecurity and data protection matters.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and product development, to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to safeguard Intuit's data and systems.
  6. Review and negotiate contracts and agreements related to cybersecurity and data protection.
  7. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to cybersecurity and data privacy, if necessary.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
  9. Monitor and respond to any cybersecurity incidents or breaches, coordinating with relevant teams to mitigate the impact.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and industry experts to stay informed and proactive in addressing cybersecurity threats.
  11. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  12. Provide timely and accurate legal advice to management and other stakeholders on cybersecurity and data protection matters.
  13. Maintain and update cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve cybersecurity and data protection processes to enhance the company's overall security posture.
  15. Represent Intuit's commitment to protecting customer data and maintaining their trust in the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity And Data Privacy Laws And Regulations - The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Both Domestic And International Cybersecurity And Data Privacy Laws And Regulations, Including But Not Limited To The General Data Protection Regulation (Gdpr) And The California Consumer Privacy Act (Ccpa).

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Cybersecurity And Data Privacy Policies - The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Developing And Implementing Cybersecurity And Data Privacy Policies And Procedures In A Corporate Setting. This Includes Risk Assessments, Incident Response Plans, And Training Programs.

  • Legal Background And Familiarity With Technology - A Juris Doctor Degree And A Strong Understanding Of Technology And Its Impact On The Legal Landscape Are Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Legal Concepts To Non-Legal Stakeholders And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Cybersecurity Risks - The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Potential Cybersecurity Risks And Develop Strategies To Mitigate Them. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On Emerging Threats And Implementing Proactive Measures To Protect Company Data.

  • Experience In Negotiating And Drafting Technology-Related Contracts - Corporate Counsel With A Focus On Cybersecurity And Data Lifespan Should Have Experience In Negotiating And Drafting Contracts Related To Technology, Such As Data Processing Agreements, Vendor Contracts, And Privacy Policies. Strong Negotiation Skills And Attention To Detail Are Essential For This Aspect Of The Role.
