  1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the protection and compliance of our company's sensitive data and systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
  3. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis to assess potential legal implications of new projects and initiatives.
  5. Advise and educate internal stakeholders on legal requirements and best practices for cybersecurity and data privacy.
  6. Draft and review contracts, policies, and procedures related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
  7. Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on potential data breaches.
  8. Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs on cybersecurity and data privacy for employees.
  10. Stay informed of emerging trends and developments in the field of cybersecurity and data privacy and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
  12. Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  13. Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations related to cybersecurity and data privacy and make recommendations for necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Cybersecurity And Data Privacy

  • Strong Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Such As Gdpr And Ccpa

  • Experience Drafting, Reviewing, And Negotiating Contracts Related To Cybersecurity And Data Protection

  • Ability To Advise On And Develop Policies And Procedures To Ensure Compliance With Data Security Laws And Regulations
