Starbucks Barista

The InterContinental Hotels is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Starbucks Barista to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, is enthusiastic about coffee and has a strong attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving premium coffee drinks, and ensuring that the barista station is stocked and well-maintained at all times.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of one year of barista experience, preferably in a high-end hotel setting. You must also possess excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be responsible for interacting with guests on a daily basis. A strong knowledge of coffee and espresso-based drinks, as well as food hygiene and safety standards, is essential. Additionally, you must be able to work independently and as a part of a team, as well as be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure quality experience for all guests
• Prepare and serve premium coffee drinks in accordance with Starbucks standards
• Monitor and maintain the barista station, ensuring that it is well-stocked at all times
• Ensure that all food hygiene and safety standards are met
• Interact with guests on a daily basis in a friendly and professional manner
• Work both independently and as a part of a team
• Stand for long periods of time as needed
