Social Events Executive

The InterContinental Hotels Group is looking for an experienced Social Events Executive to join our team. Responsibilities:

1. Developing and coordinating event plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and organizing activities to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience.
2. Liaising with vendors to arrange services and obtain quotes for event costs.
3. Developing creative ideas and concepts for event planning.
4. Managing event logistics, such as transportation, catering, decorations, and entertainment.
5. Overseeing event setup and cleanup to ensure the venue is left in a satisfactory condition.
6. Supervising staff during the event to ensure all tasks are completed according to plan.
7. Collecting and analyzing feedback from guests to gauge satisfaction levels.
8. Ensuring that event objectives are met, and all applicable laws and regulations are adhered to.
9. Maintaining accurate records of event budgets and expenditures.
10. Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
