
Social Events Executive
The InterContinental Hotels Group is looking for an experienced Social Events Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented individual who can create and manage exceptional experiences for our guests. The successful candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a deep understanding of event planning and coordination.The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of two years’ experience in hospitality, event coordination, or a related field. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. The ability to work independently and to multitask are essential for this role. Above all, the successful candidate should have a commitment to delivering a superior experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and coordinating event plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and organizing activities to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience.
- Liaising with vendors to arrange services and obtain quotes for event costs.
- Developing creative ideas and concepts for event planning.
- Managing event logistics, such as transportation, catering, decorations, and entertainment.
- Overseeing event setup and cleanup to ensure the venue is left in a satisfactory condition.
- Supervising staff during the event to ensure all tasks are completed according to plan.
- Collecting and analyzing feedback from guests to gauge satisfaction levels.
- Ensuring that event objectives are met, and all applicable laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Maintaining accurate records of event budgets and expenditures.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
