
Front Office Rooms Controller
At InterContinental Hotels, we are looking for an experienced and professional Front Office Rooms Controller to join our team. The Front Office Rooms Controller is responsible for managing the room inventory and ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and fulfilling stay. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in a front office or sales role and a high school diploma or equivalent. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and enjoys working with customers. If you are a team player who is able to think outside the box and have an eye for detail, then this position may be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities: -Manage the room inventory, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and fulfilling stay -Provide exceptional customer service to guests -Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner -Ensure that all guests’ needs are met in a timely manner -Maintain accurate records of all room reservations and occupancy -Update and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports -Ensure rooms are clean and well-stocked with necessary amenities -Assist with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly -Actively identify and resolve any problems that may arise -Provide accurate and timely information regarding room availability -Perform daily audits of housekeeping services -Keep up with industry trends and best practices for front office management
