
Front Office Manager
The InterContinental Hotels team is looking for an experienced and motivated Front Office Manager to join our team and help manage the daily operations of our hotel. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail. The Front Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, supervising staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have excellent managerial skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.The required qualifications for this role include: • At least 2 years of experience managing hotel front desk operations• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite• Knowledge of hospitality software systems such as Springer-Miller, Opera, or Protel• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring customer satisfaction • Supervise and train front desk staff and other hotel personnel • Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures • Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, payments, and other transactions • Manage staff scheduling and payroll • Monitor and enforce hotel security measures • Investigate and respond to any incidents in a professional manner • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management • Develop and implement operational procedures and processes for the front desk • Assist with the recruitment and selection of new employees • Manage the budget for the front desk operations and ensure cost-effectiveness • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met
